last nerdy thoughts before going to bed

First: I fucking love StarCraft. It’s getting to the point where, sadly, I have the urge to not go out and instead stay inside playing the game. I’m such a nerddd. I just played a (fun?) 2v2 match where my base got owned early and eventually James and I were both forced to turtle on the floating islands in the corner of the map. We built hella missile turrets to keep out Banshees and we were fucking SURVIVORS for the longest time. There was this Tim Allen movie ten years ago called Galaxy Quest… the line I remember from that is “Never give up, never surrender.” Same thing with Starcraft: Never give up, never surrender. Hahahah.

While we’re on the subject of my being a nerd, today my housie and I played a 99-stock Meta Knight ditto in Brawl. It was alternately epic and really, really sad. It lasted 92 minutes and 50 seconds. After it was over we both just walked to our rooms in shame. But Carlos, of course, walked back in more shame because I beat him by 56 stocks. HAHA

Anyway, I’m heading back to Irvine this afternoon. There are a couple of things I still need to wrap up. I need to pack, I need to return the copy of Ocarina of Time to Mica that I borrowed like three months ago (she wants to play it during break), and I need to check into the student government office to keep a couple of tabs on things. I should be sleeping right now, but I just feel like writing stuff at this exact moment… which is a bad thing, because it means I blatantly lied to several people when I said that I was going to bed (hehe!). Anyway, I just want to say that I’m glad I stayed an extra week in Davis. I had a great time hanging out with the losers hotties still remaining in the city. When I get back to SoCal, there will be an INSTANT trip to Morongo Casino, definitely a Tron viewing (been waiting for that movie for a long time), maybe a stand up show at the Irvine Improv (John Oliver last time was too good). Oh, and some chess. Gotta keep up the nerd image, you know. xD
